Friendly Fellowship

We want to provide a warm friendly atmosphere where you feel at home among the Hillside family. We believe in eating together in a family atmosphere, so much so that we provide two opportunities weekly. Wednesday evenings and Sunday evenings we eat together as we talk and get to know others on a more personal level. Wednesday evenings we provide the meal. Papa Joes Italian Restaurant generously provides pizza for our Wednesday evening service. So families can come to worship and not worry about making dinner before service. On Sunday evenings we have our “Soup and a Sermon”. This is where individuals simply bring a dish to pass. Soup, salad and sandwiches are among what individuals bring as we once again get to sit and know one another better.

As a result people tend to stay after services just to talk and enjoy each other’s company. Deep friendships are made that continue long after they leave the church building. I hope you will come and experience this fellowship for yourself.
