Christ Centered Preaching

At Hillside we believe Christ and His Word must be the core of our preaching and teaching. Christ plainly stated Heaven and Earth would pass away but His words would endure forever (Mt. 24:35). We fully agree with and believe in the truth of His teaching; therefore we purposely desire to focus on the eternal word of God. We are committed to have our preaching and teaching centered on Christ and His word. We desire to equip individuals to better understand Jesus’ teachings for themselves so they can obey His teachings (Mt. 28:20).

Our services include the exegetical preaching of God’s word. We also believe that there should be clarity in our preaching. What good is it if you cannot understand what you hear? We go through great strides to provide a clear but relevant teaching of God’s word that will impact your spiritual walk. Also all our classes are designed around the importance of knowing God’s word. Our members are encouraged to read God’s word daily. We also provide several classes a week where God’s word is taught.
